To place an order or make an enquiry, please contact me via email at crumblycakecompany@gmail.com or the contact button on www.crumblycakecompany.co.uk I aim to reply to messages within 48 hours. When making your enquiry please provide as much information as possible including collection date, size of cake/guests and any themes or photos you’ve been inspired by. I cannot copy another baker’s designs, but I can take inspiration to create you a bespoke cake for your special occasion.
Once an order has been agreed a non-refundable deposit of £25 will need to be taken to confirm the booking within 48 hours. Until your deposit is paid the booking will not be secured and your date could be offered to another customer. If ordering within 2 weeks, then full payment is required.
Once the order has left The Crumbly Cake Co. it is no longer my responsibility and cannot be held responsible for any damage caused. Full instructions on how to care for your cake will be given at time of collection.
Allergen Information
The Crumbly Cake kitchen is also a domestic kitchen, so while every care is taken to not cause any cross contamination, all the 14 allergens will have been used at some point in the cake making area. This includes dairy, gluten, and nuts.
At this time, I do not offer a free from or made without option (ie vegan, gluten free)
A list of the allergens will be provided at the time of order and will also be provided with your order on collection.
Transporting and storage of cakes
When collecting your cake please make sure that you carry your purchase from underneath and keep your box level to avoid any toppling over or damage.
The cake must be kept flat in either the boot or footwell of your car and the temperature kept as cool as possible to be sure the cake is kept in its best condition. Also, be careful when driving and try to avoid bumps and heavy braking.
If your cake is covered in buttercream, I recommend you store it in the fridge until an hour before you wish to serve it. If your cake is covered in fondant, then please keep covered but store in a cool place (not the fridge) away from sunlight.
Once your cake is cut keep in an airtight container
Your cake is produced to be as fresh as possible, therefore it is at its best eaten on day of collection, but if stored correctly can be eaten 1-2 days after collection.
Once the order has left The Crumbly Cake Co. it is no longer my responsibility and cannot be held responsible for any damage caused.
